MLC Insurance Launches New Policy
MLC Insurance has launched a new life insurance policy range following its merge with Aviva Insurance nearly 18 months later.
Aptly branded as 'MLC Insurance', the new policy suite combines features from Aviva's Protectionfirst and MLC's Personal Protection Portfolio offerings.
The following summary outlines the service changes & policy updates made to MLC Insurance.
MLC Life Insurance
- Terminal illness support in addition to any terminal illness benefits paid under the client's life insurance.
- Accidental death cover.
MLC Income Protection Insurance
- Pay and finalise approach to income protection claims. This removes the need for clients to provide monthly paperwork to remain on claim.
MLC Trauma Insurance
- Child critical illness cover, which offers child support benefit and child support income benefit.
- An extra benefits option which will pay a proportion of the critical illness benefit if the client suffers from conditions including congenital abnormalities or complications of pregnancy.
- Enhancements to Best Doctors, including a service which coordinates overseas medical appointments.
Other MLC Insurance changes
- Discounts for businesses where cover that is held across multiple policies is eligible for a large case discount (calculated as if it were one policy).
